Originally from Cork and currently based in London, Oonagh has written and directed many awardwinning shorts which have been broadcast on RTE and screened at the likes of the International Dance Festival, the Corona Fastnet Film Festival, the Galway Film Fleadh and the Kerry Film Festival. Oonagh’s recent film “Her Mother’s Daughters” won three awards at the Corona Fastnet Film Festival. Oonagh’s films are progressive, bold, dark and beautiful, with an intrinsically Irish tone coming from this typical proud Corkconian. The logo concept is developed from these attributes. The concentric circles which reference Celtic heritage are used in a bold and impactful fashion on all applications whilst acting as an optical illusion to communicate momentum and progression. Strong serifed typography adds an established and reliable tone to the identity. Printed on textured Italian paper, the stock further references the natural almost tactile quality of Oonagh’s work.
